Professor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma ( Dhungel) was born in Sinduli
district at Surkot village in BS 1997, Shrawan 7th, Monday. His family consisted of 15 members. Due to some socioeconomic
problems his family was migrated to Chapoli in BS 2003. His father has given highest interest to educate his sons and daughters
as well as the youth of the villages despite of cruel Rana regime. Professor Sharma was given his early education at
his home with inviting Sanskrit guru from Sankhuwasava and English teacher from Sarlahi. He completed his SLC from Janakpur
in BS 2013. Later he completed ISc from Amrit Campus and BSc from Trichandra Campus. His MC was from Karnatak, India. He was awarded his Ph.D from UK. After MSc he
started his carrier from teaching in Trichandra Campus. He had put top interest to establish Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IOSDC) at Dharan, Hattisar and achieved that goal. He was assistant dean in Dharan Campus in BS 2033.
Later he was appointed in the top post in member secretary of National Education Planning Commission in BS 2037.
Genetically he also demonstrated his clear vision to
give the best quality education to Nepalese youth and established a new university in Nepal under the name of Katmandu University. Today, KU is the leading university in Nepal for quality education.
Professor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma is now vice chancellor of Katmandu University.
His advices to the scholars not to forget their fixed goals and honesty even there may appear so many disturbances in their life.
Professor, Dr. Dilip
Subba, is presently serving in the post of assistant dean and campus chief at CCT. He is the first student of CCT to
complete B. Tech. Food with scholarship from India. He is also the
first Ph.D. of this campus from Germany. From the begining
of his carieer he is continueously serving Dharan Campus. He has put keen interest to established meat, milk and food
processing pilot plants at CCT. Masters degree in Food Tech is being lunched in Dharan Campus under
his leadership.
Professor
Dilip Subba is successfully leading the academic as well as management of CCT to make it compatible with the present
chalanges. He is strongly comitted for the opening of well facilitated guest house, enough IT facilities
in the campus, expansion of girls and boys hostels, and develop joint research cooperation schemes with several
universities in abroad.
He was grown
at Dharan Bhottepool. He is not only a talanted academician, but he is also very active in sports.

Professor Jagat Bahadur KC & Late King Birendra. |
Prof. Jagat Bahadur KC was born
at the remote eastern hilly region at Therathum district of Nepal. He got his primary education near by district
headquarter of Therathum. Later on he completed higher education Masters Degree from Tribhuban University in chemistry. Prof. KC started his
research career from Food Technology Campus Dharan. He is one the founder member of this
campus. Being strong affection and affiliated to eastern Nepal Dharan, he put tremendous efforts for the development of Dharan Campus. He has fully dedicated for the betterment of
this campus. In the beginning Dharan campus was run in small rented house in Laxisadak, and later Janapath.
Prof. KC was quite dissatisfied with the poor condition of the existed facilities at that
time, therefore he, jointly with other honorable teachers and dean, forwarded request to late King
Birendra for the construction of new buildings and other physical facilities for
the campus. He also put his hands to construct staff quarter and student hostel
in Hattisar Dharan. He created opportunities for higher studies
for teaching staffs and also made efforts to get foreign scholarships for students. Prof. KC was rewarded by prestigious
GORKHA DAKHIN BAHU MEDAL from king for his outstanding contributions. His contribution and dedication will be long remembered
with respect. Prof. KC has several scientific publications and along with his teaching and
research activities at University, currently he is serving as an expert scientist in several pioneer food
industries and research centers.
Professor JB KC is presently elected in the post of
president for Food Scientists and Association of Nepal(NEFOSTA).
Asst. Prof. T. N. Prasain was born in the eastern region of Nepal. Mr. Parsain, M.Sc. in Physics from Tribhuwan University Nepal, joined
CCT in 1978. He has been continuously contributing to the development of Dharan Campus. The campus
has done much more progress in the department of physics.
He is the founder of Varabi Technical Institute in Dharan Nepal. This institute is one of leading technical Institute in the eastern region of Nepal, producing
high skill technical manpower in different disciplines.

Associate Prof. Surendra Bahadur Katwal was born in eastern Nepal. There were no school to get primary
eduction near his born place. So he left his house in his childhood to get education at Dharan. Although, he started
his education at the age 15, but being a talent and genrousness, he completed his early education upto B.
Tech.(FOOD) from CCT . Later he was awarded for his higher education at Manilla University, the
Phillipine. He has been involving in teaching at CCT from 1984. He is one of the leading researcher and has so many
scientific publications in different fields of food science and nutrition. He is also serving as director at Varabi Polytechnique
Instutue, Dharan.
Mr. Pashupati Mishra was born in a Gurukul family in eastern Nepal. His father was Bramin and gave top
priority to educate to Mr. Mishra. He got his early education in Dudhe high school in Jhapa, Nepal. Later
on he joined Dharan Campus to study food tecnology. In 1983, he was sent for higher education in Russia. He
got his Masters Degree (M. Se., M. Tech.) from Moscow. He is being engaged to
teach food biochemistry, food enggeneering and cereal technology in CCT since 1990, and also engaged in diffrent types of
research activities in the field of food and nutrition sciences. He had served as a secretary general of students union
while he was in Moscow. He has two children with gighly educated Madame, who teaches English language in several
campuses in eastern Nepal.
Asst. Prof. Dhan Bahadur, was born at Mahendranagar, Sunsari, Nepal. He completed his early education at local school and then B. Tech.(FOOD) from CCT, Dharan. Tater
he joined CCT as Asst. Lecturer in 1985. He was awarded for MS degree in AIT, Bangkok. He was generous
stduent from his childhood and consequently succed his all studies with merit and distinction. Presently, he is
Asst. Campus chief in CCT. He has been keen research interest in fermentation techonology. He is continuing his research
for Ph.D. in the theme of fermentation kinetics for different crops and fruits found at highest altitudes of Nepal by selecting the highest active wild species of yeasts. He had demonstrated an excellent research
results by fermenting the wild fruits for the production of alcohol using the local variety of yeasts. He has more than dozen of paper published in different scientific journals.

Prof. Vismananda Vaidhya was born
in Kathmandu, Kilagal and got his higher education in food technology from Mysore, India. He is
the most senior food scienctist of Nepal. He is
one of the founder member of CCT, Dharan and currently deputed at RECAST, Tribhuwan University's reserch division. Beside this, he has been serving as a senior researcher
and consultant in many food reaserach institutions and food processing industries in Nepal. He is also engaged to produce some
herbal medicines in Nepal. He is the only one professor who is contineously engaged in food research since
1975 without any deviation in his professionalism and goal. He has more than a dozen of scientific papers published
in diffrent leading journals. We, Dharane products have a great respect and pride to our honourable professor
VN Vaidhya.
Dr. Ganga
Prasad Kharel, Asst. Prof. is a well known young food scientist in Dharan Campus. He is now assistant Dean and campus head
in present date. He was born in the hilly village
of Therathum and shifted to Topgachi, Jhapa in 1975. He got his schooling education in Damak high school. He
is very sharp minded and extra talented personal. He completed the Bachelor degree in food technology from Central Campus
Dharan and started to teach in Dharan Campus. In 1992 he was awarded for Monbusho Scholarship of Japan to Ph.D. He successfully completed the Ph. D in Food Technology in 1996 from Kagoshima
University of Japan.
When he returned back after Ph.D award, he continued to serve the Dharan Campus. He has written several technical books related
to food technology and published dozens of research papers in national and international journals.
Mr. Rishi Raj Gautam has completed I. Tech and B. Tech. Food from Central Campus Dharan.
He has served in different government institutions before joining the teaching job in Dharan Campus. He is teaching food
technology in Dharan Campus. He is also serving in the post of assistant Campus chief in Dharan Campus since
long time. Despite all his contineous efforts to strengthen the unity among the staffs and students for better academic
achievements of Dharan Campus his success are on the way. We all Dharane products want to encourage to our honourable
Rishi sir to drive the old management with modern view and visions by linking the more effective and creative people around him
and in the open market.
